Requirements: |
High School diploma or equivalent
CNA, PCT, or Advanced patient care training, OR
Current enrollment in a professional nursing education program (Applicant must provide a letter from the registrar at his/her school indicating current enrollment in good standing) AND,
Completion of either NR 212 (Alterations in Adult Health through Deaconess Baccalaureate Program) or NR 220 (Adult Health Nursing I through Deaconess Associate Program).
*Students from other nursing programs must submit a course description and verification that they have completed an equivalent course.
Must have knowledge of growth and development and show clinical expertise for ages of patients served, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Possesses the ability to understand and react effectively to these patients’ needs.
