| Hyperbaric oxygen chambers are available and may be used to treat the following conditions: enhancement of healing in selected problem wounds; osteomyelitis; delayed radiation injury; skin grafts and flaps; thermal burns; air or gas embolism; gas gangrene; crush injury; compartment syndrome, and other acute traumatic ischemias; carbon monoxide poisoning; decompression sickness; exceptional blood loss (anemia); intracranial abscess; and necrotizing soft tissue infections. |
