The Women’s Health Center at Forest Park Hospital has a staff of dedicated professionals who provide a variety of health services for women of all ages. Services are offered in a private, quiet, comfortable location.

Medical Services
It is our belief that women, through education, support and assistance, can be empowered to become more active in addressing their health care needs. The Women’s Health Center at Forest Park Hospital encourages women to acquire information regarding their health care, to take responsibility for their health care, and to share in the decision-making process.

It is the goal of the Women’s Health Center to enhance the physical as well as the psychological and emotional well being of all women through the provision of education and specialized clinical services. We strive to:

• Provide gender-specific diagnostic and health services for women in a facility dedicated to women
• Provide specialized services to meet the ongoing needs and health care concerns of women, which may include:
  • supporting women in making decisions regarding their health care by providing education, information and counseling opportunities
  • providing a program of health education specific to women’s needs
  • encouraging women to take responsibility for their health care and to be active participants in decision making
  • offering counseling services with designated health care professionals
  • referring to health care professionals in the community who are sensitive to women’s health care concerns and needs
  • initiating and participating in research opportunities investigating women’s health care needs
